Project summary :

SuperAthlete Nutrition is a Shopify storefront for high‑performance supplements targeting athletes, bodybuilders, and fitness enthusiasts. My role was ongoing site maintenance and feature upgrades: fixing template errors, improving product discovery, bolstering SEO, and ensuring the store stays lightning‑fast and fully responsive.

 

  • Resolved theme bugs and liquid template conflicts without downtime

  • Implemented advanced, SEO‑friendly product filters and metafields

  • Added dynamic bundles / subscribe‑and‑save functionality to boost AOV

  • Optimized imagery and Shopify sections for sub‑2 s mobile load times

  • Integrated Klaviyo flows and pop‑ups for e‑mail capture and win‑back campaigns

  • Collaborated with remote team via Slack & Trello for sprint tracking

Weekly sprints focused on:

  1. Diagnostics & Bug Fixes – audit theme code, remove unused scripts

  2. UX Upgrades – refine navigation, add mega‑menu and sticky cart icon

  3. Conversion Features – reviews widget, trust badges, one‑click checkout icons

  4. Mobile QA – test every template at major breakpoints, adjust media queries

  5. Performance & SEO – lazy‑load, compress assets, add JSON‑LD schema

  • Shopify theme customizer for easy banner swaps

  • Product quick‑view, ingredient tabs, supplement‑facts accordion

  • Tiered discount logic for wholesale athletes & teams

  • Blog / article hub to drive organic traffic

  • Trust badges (NSF, GMP, FDA icons) auto‑injected via metafield flags

Flexible grid layouts, touch‑friendly sliders, and condensed PDP sections ensure users can browse stacks, read reviews, and check out in seconds on any phone or tablet.
