Cut Total Blocking Time from ~4.3s to ~190ms (DebugBear, throttled mobile) with an interaction gate that neutralizes third-party script tags server-side before output and re-enables them on first interaction, with a MutationObserver fallback for tags injected dynamically after parse
Built features as final readonly classes implementing a Feature interface, registered through a composed feature group in main.php with per-site gating predicates, shipping ad-stack deferral, schema output, GTM injection, title suppression, share-URL handling, and color-palette resolution on this pattern
Handled per-site behavior through a Newsroom enum keyed to blog ID plus PHP match() expressions, so one codebase serves 21 independently configured publications with no site-specific forks
Implemented unified reCAPTCHA v3 through a single htmx:confirm interceptor routing on request path, fail-closed on empty token, replacing a broken per-block approach, plus honeypot filtering deployed network-wide during a bot signup incident
Owned technical SEO across the network: Schema_Org_* feature classes, custom rewrite rules for a prefix-free /%category%/%postname%/ permalink structure, and a 410 Gone handler eliminating ~1,440 indexed 404s
Built client-side signup attribution (UTM persistence, landing referrer, signup type, and GA4 client ID) passed into Sailthru, since VIP's full-page cache rules out server-side session tracking
Kept the legacy WP Engine / Divi network running through the rebuild onto WordPress VIP, building custom plugins for forms, video automation, and newsletter gates
